How to manage 5 hours
Making every minute count is difficult.
There are many books, articles, stories, Facebook (ps blogger told me to capitalize fb lol I guess they wanted some respect on their name) posts about managing time and doing things in an effective matter. I have begun working for myself about 4 weeks ago and I am starting to look back on those four weeks to try and understand myself better. One thing I realized is that setting a 5hour work day isn't getting me anywhere.
I truly do not believe in long work days to reach success. I believe smart specific strategies can make all the difference, with some well thought effort behind it. With that being said I have set my standard to low.
I am thinking of going to a 7 hour work day to increase performance. And originally I started working for myself for the money but over the past 4 weeks I learned passion outside of money. I just want to live a healthy, happy, productive life. The money means less to me now. I am more focused on being able to manage my time and capitalize on my efforts being on this earth. Every second counts but many days I have wasted doing nothing.
So it starts with time management. But I set tasks, right calendar appointments, set goals, stay motivated, the whole nine yards yet still something lacks. It bothers me but maybe it is me. Maybe my intentions aren't on the same page as my emotions or maybe I just feel uncomfortable in unfamiliar territory. I have been conditioned my whole life to work a job and work hard to be successful so to go against everything I have been told my spirit could just be uneasy. If that is the case then I am on the right road in the right lane.
With all that being said I still need to manage my time correctly to actually optimize my efforts. This blog is helping me stay on topic by openly discussing my mind. So this will be one of the habits I develop to stay focused and optimize my time. This will keep me on track.
Today I will:
Network online
Do more market research
Enhance my productivity skills
Create daily goals.
P.S. this may seem all over the place, and that is because these are simply my thoughts, and they are all over the place.
